Configuration in the EAS portal vs. via a job

There are two sources for the settings used to process a fax job:

  • From the JobRequest

  • From the EAS Portal

Some settings can be configured in both EAS and the JobRequest. In this case, the EAS settings are the default values that can be overwritten by values in the JobRequest.

EAS portal

The following settings can only be configured in the EAS portal:

  • Login password

  • Country code

  • Time zone

  • Report: holdback time

  • Report mail: Subject template, body template

JobRequest

The following settings can only be configured in the JobRequest:

  • Apply blocklist

  • Cover page template

  • HTTP status push authentication method / credentials

Eas portal and JobRequest

The following settings can be configured in either EAS or the JobRequest:

  • Sender’s Fax ID, "CSID"

  • Sender address

  • Reportmail addresses

  • Header

  • Cost center

  • Billing Info

  • Express: in EAS; however, not via the customer

  • Paper size

  • HTTP status push URL
