PaperCut: Setting up PaperCut MF™ for Retarus Cloud Fax

This tutorial outlines the steps to set up PaperCut MF for Retarus Cloud Fax.

📌 PaperCut MF Connector status

The PaperCut MF Fax Connector is already preconfigured and tested to work with Retarus Fax-for-Applications or Email-to-Fax. Only the credentials need to be entered in the service properties.

Prerequisites

  • PaperCut MF version 21.0 or higher with Integrated Scanning enabled. For details, see the PaperCut Knowledge Base.

  • API credentials (“Login-ID”) for Retarus Fax-for-Applications (REST API) or Email-to-Fax.

  • The preferred data center region URL for Europe or the US (provided by Retarus).

Setting up PaperCut MF

1. Request a test account for Retarus Fax-for-Applications or Email-to-Fax

→ Request a Retarus test account from your current Retarus account manager or at .

→ After account activation, the delivery team will contact you and provide:

  • the required API product credentials

  • the URL for the preferred processing region.

2. To learn about the PaperCut MF Connector for Retarus Cloud Fax

→ Visit the PaperCut MF Integrations webpage.

→ For information about the integration through PaperCut:

3. Configure PaperCut MF

→ Open the PaperCut MF management console.

→ Go to Fax settings - Fax server settings.

→ Enter the API base URL for your desired region and credentials.

4. Test the connector

→ Send a test fax to ensure the PaperCut MF™ Connector is functioning properly.
