Creating a new list
Distribution lists and blocklists
There are two options for defining column types.
Option 1
The terms in the tables below are stored and automatically placed in the correct columns when recognized by WebExpress. The column name can be designated directly: "ref, email, fax, sms…" for distribution lists and "ref, email, nr…" for blacklists. The designations for these columns can be iden-tified in 5 languages (German, English, Spanish, French and Italian), which means that the columns can correspondingly be named in these different languages.
This recognition process also takes place during the upload.
The following criteria have to be met in order for a new distribution list or blacklist to be being compiled:
dlu_firstrowcolumnnames must always be set.
Column names have to be defined. This is a requirement for identification of the required column types.
If no column names are given, the upload is cancelled and the corresponding error message appears.
Distribution list
Reference | Fax | SMS | |
---|---|---|---|
referenz | .mail. | .*fax.* | .*handy.* |
Blocklist
Reference | Fax or SMS → Number | |
---|---|---|
referenz | .*mail.* | .*fax.* |
Option 2
The column name is followed by a colon (:) and then the column type; for example, "Number: SMS", or “Referencia: correo electrónico”. The column text consists of the text to the left of the colon. In the example given under this option, the column name is "Number", the column type "SMS".
Replacing an existing list
If the dlu_firstrowcolumnnames option is used, the column names must be identical to the existing list. If this is not the case, the upload is cancelled and an error message appears.
The number of columns must be identical to the number in the existing list.
The column types are always taken from the existing list.
If dlu_listcomment is entered, the existing comments are also replaced (otherwise, they are not).
