Description

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that provide a feedback loop service do not create it in a standardized form, so it is not possible to add additional information. The reason for this is that ISPs make most of the information within the email headers unrecognizable, so that no traceability of specific information is possible at this point.

The only thing that is constantly reported back in information from the ISPs is the following information:

  • Reply-To-Address / From-Address

    • Sender-Email-Address of the original email

  • Sender Domain

    • Sender-Domain of the original email

  • Retarus-Message-ID

    • The Message-ID (=JobID*) is already provided to you about our Push Notification service

  • Receipt date

    • Time-Stamp when was the message sent to the recipient

These are queried in the Retarus FBL Service, sent via email (sender = reputation@research.retarus.de) to the Reply-To-Address/From-Address of the original email, or returned to a previously defined mailbox and then deleted afterwards. You have also to possibility to receive alle Feedback-Loop-Information via our Push Notification service. If you would like more information, please contact your Technical Consultant.
