After Retarus receives the signed agreement, the delivery team will contact you and provide the following: → The required API credentials to access the Retarus platform. → The URL for the preferred processing region.
By default, the ActFax Connector is configured for the European region.
2. Configure inbound fax parameters
Navigate to Extras - Options - General - Extended Options - External Parameters, and set the following parameters:
HTTPSetInboundURL Enter the Retarus server URL for receiving inbound faxes. If multiple servers need to be specified, separate them using commas (,).
HTTPSetInboundPassword Specify the password for authentication.
3. Activate fax reception in Web Fax Service
In the ActFax management console:
Navigate to Communication - Web Fax Service.
Activate the Activate Fax Reception option.
This option is only available if the HTTPSetInboundURL parameter has been set.
4. Recommended: Configure the document format in EAS portal
Log in to yourEAS account.
Set the document format to TIFF.
5. Test the configuration
Send a test fax to ActFax Server to verify that the ActFax Connector is receiving your faxes correctly.
