How can I assign numbers to a Fax Portal tenant in the Retarus EAS portal?
Under Fax Inbound Services, navigate to the Profile tab.
Use the search function and enter fax-portal to filter and display profiles associated with the Fax Portal. → In the results, the Comments column shows the tenant's name, usually followed by the note Do not update profile name. Retarus creates this profile, and it is named using the following format: fax-portal_<UUID> (where <UUID> is a unique identifier) Example: fax-portal_0edefd51-14f9-40e4-8dce-0756a3bc2677 is the profile name for the Implementation Department tenant.
Assign the number to your Fax Portal profile:
In the list of profiles, select the tenant’s profile, and click Assign number to a profile.
→ The Assign number to a profile window opens.
Check the boxes next to all numbers you want to add to the profile and click Save.
→ The list of numbers assigned to the profile updates to reflect your changes.
Confirm whether the number(s) is already deactivated. Only deactivated numbers will appear in the Fax Portal.
If any number is not deactivated, select it and click the De/activate button at the bottom of the screen.
Once done, your screen should look similar to the example below.
📌 Do not change or edit the profile name or the comments at any stage.
