Delete a faxbox

If a faxbox is no longer needed, you can delete it from the Enterprise Fax Portal. Any tenant admin with access to the faxbox can perform this action.

📌 Permanent deletion

Deleting a faxbox permanently removes all faxes and documents stored in it. Additionally, any faxbox-specific cover pages that are used only by this faxbox are also deleted. You cannot retrieve or recover this data after deletion.

1. On the main Enterprise Fax Portal page, click Settings.
   → The Users window is displayed.

2. Navigate to the Faxboxes tab.
   → The Faxboxes window is displayed, listing your available faxboxes.

3. Find the faxbox you want to delete and click Edit at the end of its row.

4. Click Edit--> at the end of the faxbox that needs to be deleted.
   → The Edit faxbox window is displayed.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit faxbox window until you see the red Delete button.

6. Click Delete.
   → A warning message is displayed with Cancel and Delete faxbox options.

7. Click the red Delete Faxbox button.
   → A confirmation message appears at the bottom of the screen, and you return to the Faxboxes page.
