Identify faxes in use by another user
Knowing which faxes are currently in use and being worked on by another user is invaluable, particularly when multiple users share the same faxbox.
When a fax is in use by another user
When an avatar icon with the user’s initials is displayed at the end of the fax message, next to the number of fax pages, this indicates that the fax is “in use by” and being worked on by another user.
In the screenshot below, the example avatar icon is
, and the user’s name, Joe Taylor, is displayed on the right side of the screen: “In use by 
Joe Taylor”.
As a best practice, it is recommended that you exit out of any message you open where another user is already in the process of working on that message.
If multiple users are working on the same fax message simultaneously, the actions of the user who accessed the message first take priority over any actions taken by other users.
