IDHUB: Retarus Identity & Access Management solution (IAM)

IDHUB is Retarus’ centralized Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution. It provides a modern, secure, and consistent login experience for accessing Retarus services.

IDHUB is used when accessing:

  • EAS

  • myEAS

If you do not use Single Sign-On (SSO), IDHUB is your standard authentication system.

What is IDHUB?

IDHUB centralizes identity and security-related functionality, including:

  • Secure user authentication (login)

  • Password management

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Session security and monitoring

By using IDHUB, Retarus ensures:

  • Stronger account protection

  • Consistent security policies

  • A single login experience across Retarus portals

IDHUB currently delivers identity and login functionality for EAS and myEAS. Additional access management capabilities, such as user and authorization management, are planned for future releases.

IDHUB security features

IDHUB includes multiple security mechanisms designed to protect your account and prevent unauthorized access.

Secure login

Each user logs in using a unique email address (username) and password. Passwords must comply with strict security policies to ensure sufficient complexity. Password changes and resets are handled centrally by IDHUB.

For complete password requirements, see IDHUB Password Policies.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account. After the initial setup, every login requires a one-time code in addition to your password.

The one-time code is generated by:

  • A mobile authenticator app, or

  • A browser-based authenticator extension

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account.

A new code is generated every 30 seconds. 2FA significantly reduces the risk of account compromise, even if a password is exposed.

For setup instructions, see Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Brute-force protection

To protect against automated attacks, repeated failed login attempts are automatically detected and suspicious behavior may result in a temporary account lock. This protects your account from unauthorized access attempts.

If your account is locked, contact your administrator or the Retarus Support Team for assistance.

Monitoring and alerts

Login activity is continuously monitored. Suspicious or abnormal behavior automatically triggers protective actions. These mechanisms help detect and stop potential security threats early.

Session security

Inactive sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity. This prevents unauthorized access if a session is left unattended.

Logging out from IDHUB ends all active sessions across EAS and myEAS.
